GOD DEATH GEAR Metallization Project
Manufacturing that makes you smile
One day, Takuo Toda, CEO of Castem, found GOD DEATH GEAR made of plastic on social media of Takumi Kougei Co., Ltd. He was impressed with the design and decided to metalize it. After he send a message to them, they visited us with the GOD DEAT GEAR immediately and we shared our interest and passion for manufacturing. Thus, the GOD DEATH GEAR Metallization Project started at the end of 2020.
GOD DEATH GEAR Made of Metal
GOD DEATH GEAR is a huge ax with more than 2 m in height. The strong blade of the ax is 1 m in height and 5.5 cm in thickness. The inside of the ax is decorated with some gears.
In the process of metalizing the huge ax, we tried to manufacture it in a real, practical, and playful.
The huge ax looks powerful even after the weight reduction. In addition, it was designed to be able to disassemble into four parts so that it can be easily carried to exhibition events. Moreover, the gear parts on the blade of the ax can move and make metallic sounds by turning the handle on the haft.
To create the huge ax, we created over 40 sheets of drawings and produced over 200 parts.
All parts are created by our precision casting technology. After assembling them accurately, GOD DEATH GEAR was created with 2.3 m in length and 31 kg in weight.
It has been our masterpiece that expresses our serious attitude toward manufacturing.
